Almsthre Stem Feed Bag Review

Do you enjoy easy access to snacks, often find yourself wishing you brought more water, or your looking for a better place to store your small digital camera? Perhaps the most overlooked bag in gravel cycling is the Feed Bag. Feed bags are incredibly versatile and offer unparalleled access to hydration, food, tools, sunglasses, or electronics. My personal favorite use for a feed bag is snack and camera storage on everyday rides. It makes access to my small Ricoh GRiii quick, easy, and safe. I’ve tried storing my GR is other locations, including frame bags, handlebar bags, top tube bags, and back pockets, but nothing works quite as well as the feed back for getting off quick snaps while cruising on uneven terrain.

Looking for an everyday feed bag for gravel rides and commutes, I was excited to try the Almsthre Stem Feed Bag. Unlike most snack packs, the Stem Feed Bag from Almsthre is slimmed down and features a unique gusseted side pocket that stays close to the bag body, but extends out when placing keys, cards, or cash in its zippered closure. Available in 5 colors including California Gold, Cosmic Blue, Midnight Black, Rust Red, and Sterling Silver, these bags feature durable ripstop nylon outer fabric and multiple attachment points for fully adjustable mounting positions on the bike. My Stem Feed Bag in Rust Red is easy to clean and in case water enters the bag, theres a small hole at the bottom that allows for drainage. As for dislikes, I only wish the bag came with a one-handed drawstring closure system. The Stem Feed Bag’s closure is a simple cinch and release tether system, but it does require two hands to close.
